With tremendous courage in 1997, Christ Community Church voted to
separate from the Reformed Church in America. The members and
the leaders of this community were no longer comfortable being
confined by the RCA's doctrines and beliefs. Christ Community
Church chose the difficult path to independence in order to be an
open and affirming community celebrating all people, particularly in
honor of people of all sexual orientations and spiritual paths.

Now, as we mark the 10-year anniversary of that courageous
decision, and the completion of the final independence payment,
we examine the freedoms of independence in new ways.
In this commemorative 2-disc DVD set, we invite you to discover
the ways independence marks new freedoms and new responsibilities
for this community as well as for individuals.
